The music ministry of Union Baptist Church is an integral part of our worship services.  We believe that music, combined with the other ministries of the church, serves as an outreach through participation, and a spiritual ministry to the congregation.  It is our desire to include everyone wh would like to be a partof the mission of the church:  whether it be solo, musical instruments, drama, choir membership, or special group ensembles.  We believe music enhances our worship and provides those who give of their talents with joyful fellowship and spiritual blessings.  (Adult Choir meets each Sunday at 4:30 P.M.)

The student ministry at Union Baptist Church understands the complex world students grow up in today.  The student ministry strives to apply practical Biblical teaching every time we meet.  Our goal is to meet spiritual, relational, and emotional needs of students.  Activities include planned outings, Christian concerts, summer youth camp, as well as mission opportunities.  Every week provides great opportunities.  (Youth on Mission meets every Wednesday at 7:00 P.M.)

The children's ministry team seeks to provide various avenues of presenting the gospel to nursery, preschool, and elementary aged children by providing a foundation for making disciples of Jesus Christ.  We engage them in children's worship, mission activities, fellowship opportunities, Bible study sessions, and music.  We guide children to express their faith through musical performances, mission projects, and various church wide programs.  (K.I.D.s church meets at 10:00 A.M. each Sunday in the CLC)

Sunday School at Union Baptist offers an exciting variety of classes for all age groups, from the youngest baby to the most senior adult.  Opportunities for learning about the Bible are presented by well-trained instructors.  In addition to meeting the spiritual needs of individuals, Sunday School provides a loving atmosphere to minister to all needs.  Sunday School at UBC is the place to worship, learn about the Bible, and fellowship with other Christians.  There is a Sunday School class for every member of your family.

The purpose of our mission program at Union Baptist is to share the love of Christ by helping to meet needs in our community and beyond.  Every class learns about missionaries and their work.  We support missionaries with prayer and offerings.

The Just Older Youth (J.O.Y.) Group provides an opportunity for the senior adults to meet and fellowship together.  Along with monthly luncheons, the J.O.Y. Group has fund-raising activities/events and takes trips to points of interest.  (The J.O.Y. Group is open to everyone age 55 and up)
